Tuberville Update: Self-Fulfilling Prophecy

Well, we said it here this morning, and low and behold Arkansas proved our point for us. Tommy Tuberville is in fact an idiot. If there was ever a pure example of a self-fulfilling prophecy in college football, this is it.

Tuberville was right. He spewed out his doubts this week that any SEC team can make the National Championship Game, and he got his team to do its part to prove his point … in front of 80,000 of his own fans, no less!

Forget about asking Bill Doba to compare USC versus Auburn. We’ve got Houston Nutt. We’ve taken our shots at Nutt this year, but he deserves some props today. The Razorbacks won at Auburn, and he has them improving each week.

Actually, we don’t need Nutt to compare USC versus Auburn. For one, we’ve got the 2006 scoreboard:

USC 50, Arkansas 19 at Fayetteville.
Arkansas 27, Auburn 10 at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Secondly, the Tigers and Tuberville are now irrelevant to the BCS chase, not to mention much less annoying now that Auburn’s destiny has been fulfilled. As I’ve seen in several posts from Auburn followers, we’ll sign out like this: “War DAMN Eagle!”

Damn eagle, indeed. LOL.

I don't think I'll be eating anything just yet. You "think" you see Auburn at No. 4? What ... you're not sure? Are you trying to tell me this is better than No. 2?

What kind of SEC logic is this? Oh, that's right. You're from Tuberville Tech.

If you're gonna bring it, please take some knowledge and insight along. Otherwise, keep your head down south.

war darn eagle. LOL.
